Scheduling Recurring Workflows
A little known feature of Flowmingo is the ability to create scheduled recurring workflows. Scheduled workflows allow you to automatically start new workflows on a predefined scheduled, monthly, weekly or daily.
Why would you need recurring workflows?
There are probably many times when you find yourself thinking: I need ‘this something’ to happen every X days? It could be a monthly on site maintenance service call, a weekly invoice or billing process or any of your other business processes.
The scheduled workflow process is started and affected users are notified of their tasks just as they would be for a manually launched workflow.
Creating a recurring workflow couldn't be easier.
- Give the Scheduled workflow a name
- Select one of your workflow templates to use
- Then select how often you would like the process to run
